Pebble Beach

Welcome to Pebble Beach

A tranquil hideaway along California’s Monterey Peninsula

The small coastal town of Pebble Beach, California, is a peaceful haven on the Monterey Peninsula. With sweeping, scenic views and an air of luxury, there’s no wonder why this residential area is also a popular vacation spot.

Pebble Beach has humble origins—it was a small piece of the Rancho Pescadero, an 1836 land grant awarded to Fabian Barreto. The rocky coastal area became a fishing settlement established by Chinese immigrants in the 1850s, and over the years, it attracted sightseers due to its tremendous natural beauty. The construction of the Pebble Beach Lodge in 1909 truly put the town on the map.

Today, Pebble Beach is a gated community that has become a quiet, exclusive resort destination, home to numerous country clubs and golf courses. Sprawling waterfront mansions typically price well into the millions, with many designed in the grand Tuscan architectural style. Spanish architecture is also popular, and these palatial homes boast an incredible amount of amenities.
